Terms and Conditions for So Unique Homemaker & Companion Agency

Welcome to So Unique Homemaker & Companion Agency ("Agency," "we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using our services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

1. Services Provided

The Agency provides homemaking and companion services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Home care and cleaning

  • Meal preparation

  • Companionship and social interaction

  • Assistance with personal tasks and errands

  • Other related services as agreed upon by the Agency and Client

The specific services provided will be agreed upon in writing by both parties prior to the start of any engagement.

 

2. Client Responsibilities

By engaging the Agency’s services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your needs and preferences.

  • Treat Agency staff with respect and courtesy.

  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for the Agency staff while providing services.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the services being provided.

  • Promptly pay for the services rendered according to the agreed-upon payment terms.

 

3. Agency Responsibilities

The Agency will:

  • Provide services as outlined in the agreement between the Agency and the Client.

  • Assign qualified and trained staff to provide the services.

  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy concerning Client information.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the provision of services.

  • Communicate with the Client regarding any changes to service availability or requirements.

 

4. Fees and Payment

  • The Client agrees to pay for services as per the pricing structure agreed upon by both parties.

  • All fees are due on the agreed-upon payment dates. Late payments may incur additional charges.

  • The Agency reserves the right to modify the fees with prior written notice.

  • Payments may be made by [list payment methods, e.g., credit card, bank transfer, etc.].

 

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • If a Client wishes to cancel or reschedule a service, they must provide [insert cancellation policy, e.g., 24 hours’ notice] in advance.

  • The Agency may charge a cancellation fee if notice is not given in accordance with the policy.

  • The Agency reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services in cases of illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of personal and sensitive information shared during the engagement.

  • The Agency will not disclose Client information to third parties without consent unless required by law.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

  • The Agency will make every effort to provide services to the Client in a professional manner. However, the Agency’s liability for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from the services will be limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the specific services in question.

  • The Agency will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur as a result of the Client’s failure to provide a safe environment or to disclose important health and safety information.

 

8. Independent Contractors

The Agency’s staff may be independent contractors. The Agency is not responsible for the actions of independent contractors except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.

 

9. Termination of Agreement

  • Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the terms of the agreement are violated or if the services are no longer required.

  • Upon termination, any unpaid balances will be due immediately.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert applicable jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in [insert location].
